Rhythms of the Heartland

// INTRO

Congo Blue is a Toronto-based creative collective that specialized in producing, designing, and integrating visual, lighting, and set elements for live events, commercials, and films. We have experience working on shows of all sizes, from clubs to arenas, and provide a range of services including lighting design, live visuals, show direction, and content production. Our team frequently collaborates with directors, artists, and designers to create immersive and memorable experiences using cutting-edge technology. The goal for the brand refresh is to further expand on the established brand system to create a cohesive branded approach that will stand out in the highly saturated Production market.

To conceptualize the Congo Blue Production logo, the design team began by exploring monogram options and different typefaces that effectively communicated the values of professionalism, trust, modernity, and faith. They also considered the use of color and imagery in the logo design, selecting a palette and visual elements that aligned with the company's brand and values. The branding needed to reflect the collective's innovative approach to live visuals, capturing the essence of performance art.

Through sketching, refining, and testing various concepts, the team was able to create a final logo that effectively represents the Congo Blue Production brand and effectively conveys the desired message to the target audience.
